Hi there non-existent, and apparently existent readers. I’m writing this in a library while listening to a radio show on my podcast so if there are random words added to sentences assume that it is Luke Burbank of Too Beautiful To Live saying that word and I just happen to be writing it down as I hear it. I can’t seem to think of what I’m going to tell you today…hmm… How about a splurge report?…To completely contradict my post earlier this week.

5 Things I will never buy generic – even if they claim to be the same.1. Cereal Call me a snob but the store brand tastes like cardboard. If you pour it into a bowl and tell me its Fruit Loops and not Store-Os I’ll eat them and be happy, but tell me what they are, and I will say that they taste like cardboard…it’s stupid but it’s true.2. Cold Cream Ponds is the only form this comes in as far as I’m concerned. Cold Cream is exactly the same as the CVS stuff I’m sure…I don’t care I’m like an 80 year old woman, I gots to have my Ponds with the green cap…it’s just true.3. Face Wash It may be psychological, but I really only think that Proactiv, or the Neutrogena rip off system, just work better, maybe it’s a formulaic copyright thing…I don’t know…I’m an English major I don’t pay attention to patent laws.4. Make-Up Cheap makeup will make you break out. Again this is just a fact.5. Shampoo/Conditioner Much like my Ponds I’m very loyal to my Dove. All hair care products…I’m a Dove girl. And it probably has a lot to do with their Real Women ad campaign…what can I say I love feel good marketing.

I’m not usually so CVS obsessed next week’s features won’t focus this specifically…or maybe it will I don’t know.
